Dear friend,
On this Thanksgiving Day, I want to wish you and your loved ones a joyous celebration. As we prepare our feast and gather with friends and family, I’m thanking God that my wife and I can raise our children in this great nation, enjoying the blessings of civil and religious liberty.
As our own George Weigel wrote ([link removed]) this week:
“At Thanksgiving 2021, America should rediscover hope in its heart. Doing so is not fantasy, nor is it something unnatural to us as a people. A hopeful heart is a truly American heart. Because as the Declaration of Independence affirms, we never walk alone, but in the care of the God who gave us life and liberty at the same time.”
Though that liberty—and the human dignity which it serves—are under attack on many fronts, EPPC is at work every day to see them continued by helping orthodox religious believers think through and live out their political and cultural witness in the 21st century.
All of us at EPPC are grateful for you—our community of supporters, readers, friends, allies in the fight to preserve the truth about the founding principles that made America prosperous and free.
Thank you for being a part of this work, and may God Bless America.
