Hi,
As we reflect on the past year, I want to take a moment to
express my deepest appreciation for your support of EARTHDAY.ORG’s™
work. It has been a critical year in progressing the
environmental movement and continuing to protect the planet and its
people. I am so thankful for what we have been able to achieve
together.
Throughout it all, we remain devoted to our mission to
diversify, educate, and activate the environmental
movement.
We are now on the other side of this month's COP26 UN Climate
Conference where we helped organize global youth activists to speak
out on climate literacy, gave African civil society and government
leaders a platform to share their climate perspectives, emphasized the
importance of citizen science on a global scale, presented the need
for climate restoration through technology-based solutions, and more.

It is also important to recognize the critical environmental work
done year-round through our global programs and acknowledge each
success, no matter the size, as these are what create true change. In
2021, with your support, so much was accomplished, including:
expanding our Volunteer Corps to over 15,000 volunteers in 168
countries worldwide, engaging 12 million people in active cleanups
throughout the world on World Cleanup Day, and successfully conducting
another year of virtual Earth Day Live events, such as our
collaborative Three Days of Climate Action Summits that discussed the
most critical topics in our fight against climate change.
None of this would have been possible without you, and I am
so grateful for your support. As we look to the next steps in
our fight for climate action, environmental justice, and ecosystem
restoration, we hope that you will continue to stand with us. Thank
you for working with us to build a more just and sustainable future
for our planet.
I look forward to what we will achieve together.
In gratitude,
Kathleen Rogers President
