Stay healthy this flu season! The Actors Fund and Mt Sinai's Friedman Health Center for the Performing Arts are offering free flu shots for the Performing Arts Community. No appointments required.

 



The Career Center

The Career Center offers a comprehensive suite of programs and services that help entertainment industry and performing arts professionals identify and find sideline work and discover new careers outside the industry.

Health & Health Insurance

The Actors Fund offers personalized health insurance counseling and enrollment support, referrals to health care resources, primary medical care at The Friedman Health Center for the Performing Arts and seminars on how to best care for yourself.
 
Each month’s Health Insurance HQ provides an update on the health care landscape from the expert team at The Actors Fund’s Artists Health Insurance Resource Center. This month, learn facts versus fiction regarding Open Enrollment.

This fall, we’re partnering with the John Gore Organization on The Actors Fund Flu Shot Program for Touring Companies to provide everyone on an Actors’ Equity national tour (or working in a tour venue) with access to flu shots right in their theaters. Learn more now!

The Actors Fund operates several affordable housing residences across the country, and also offers resources to help you learn more about affordable housing opportunities and other housing-related issues you may encounter.

Some upcoming seminars include Apartment Hunting 101: Strategies for Finding Housing in NYC, Applying for Affordable Housing in both Brooklyn and Manhattan, and Affordable Housing for Seniors.

Social Services

With respect and understanding, our professional social workers offer our community help to address a wide array of challenges via counseling and support groups, education and practical help—completely free of charge.

Upcoming support groups include the Sexual Harassment Support Group , Self-Care to Give Care and Self-Care For Women in the Entertainment Industry.
