Happy Thanksgiving - or ThanksLIVING as we like to call it - to you and your loved ones. On this special day we want to take the opportunity to thank YOU. Through your support of Animal Outlook you're doing so much to help animals by exposing the truth and inspiring change.
Our thoughts are also with the millions of turkeys who have been killed for today’s feast. Turkeys are smart, playful, sensitive and curious birds who each have distinct personalities. They are affectionate, recognize each other and enjoy socializing.
To end up on the dinner table today, these amazing birds are bred to grow to unnatural weights, are unable to express natural behaviors like roosting, flapping their wings, dust bathing and nesting, and are forced to live in squalid conditions which cause a multitude of health problems.
Turkeys, and all other farmed animals, deserve better. Thanks to you, we are able to fight on their behalf through undercover investigations, legal advocacy, corporate and food system reform, outreach and education.
