Happy Thanksgiving.

As we celebrate the holiday today, I want to tell you how grateful I am for this team and all you have done and continue to do for our grassroots movement. I’m humbled by your support. It makes me hopeful for the future of our country and the progress we’re building together.

The work we’re doing is so important, especially as we work to recover from the pandemic that upended the lives of so many families in Ohio and around the country.

It’s projected that 42 million Americans, including 13 million children, will experience food insecurity this year, with a disproportionate impact on people of color. And studies show that more households in the U.S. are facing food insecurity than before the pandemic.

I want to encourage you to donate to the Ohio Food Bank [[link removed]] or a local food bank in your area [[link removed]] this holiday season if you are able. They’re doing important work to combat food insecurity in our country during the holidays and year-round.
