Dear John,

Jacquie and I wanted to send a brief note wishing everyone a healthy and happy Thanksgiving. There’s no question that this past year has been tough on many fronts, but our driving spirit as Americans and as Minnesotans has carried us through difficult times in the past. I am confident it will do so once again.
I hope you can spend time with family over the next few days and enjoy the company of your loved ones. We have much to be thankful for! My family will also be keeping the men and women serving in uniform in our prayers - both those overseas and the ones right here in our communities. The job they do to keep us safe and free is not easy, and we are especially grateful for them this year.

America is still the greatest country the world has ever known. We have our work cut out for us over the next year if we are to regain a foothold for freedom and opportunity. But I am confident we will be successful and will have even more to be thankful for at this time next year.

From our family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!
