During this season of giving, I believe it's important for everyone to pause and reflect on what they're grateful for. My list is simple: I am overwhelmed with gratitude for my health, family, and Heifer International.



After spending years traveling the world, I have seen what hunger and poverty can do to a family, a community and a country. I have seen the look of hunger in children's eyes and the look of pain in their parents' faces as they work tirelessly to get out of poverty. I have also seen the blessing that Heifer International offers when they bring tools, training and animals to hardworking families in need.

I would not have been able to do any of that, witness any lives changed, if it were not for the support of incredibly heartfelt supporters like you. This Thanksgiving, I am so thankful for you. With your help, we get a little closer to putting an end to hunger and poverty ... forever.



Your kindness provides the life-changing animals, seeds, education and encouragement that families need to set them on the path to a successful future. But more than that, your kindness gives them hope. That is the true impact of your generosity.



So today, as we gather around the Thanksgiving table, I want you to know that the entire Heifer International family, from Nepal to Honduras to Little Rock, Arkansas, is giving thanks for you.
