Happy Thanksgiving, John! 

If you’re like me, I’m sure you’re looking forward to a great day with your family and friends.  

It’s been another difficult year for our country, but we still have plenty to be thankful for.  

I’m so grateful to be an American and a Minnesotan. We’re truly blessed to live in a country that values freedom above all else as reflected in this passage from President Ronald Reagan's inspiring 1986 Thanksgiving address. 

"Let us pause from our many activities to give thanks to almighty God for our bountiful harvests and abundant freedoms... And let us ever be mindful of the faith and spiritual values that have made our Nation great and that alone can keep us great."
