John,

I couldn't let the day get away without saying thank you.

You've played such an important part in all that we've accomplished this year. In Afghanistan, Yemen and Ethiopia — countries facing some of the toughest crises — you've helped so many families who are facing the most difficult moments of their lives.

Safe shelter, clean water, emergency food for malnourished children… these are just a few of the things you've helped us deliver this year.

John, thank you for being there for refugees. It really is because of you that families around the world are able to survive, recover and rebuild their lives.

Thank you so much and have a very happy Thanksgiving.
