John,
Today, I will volunteer to serve dinner at a local food bank and then sit down with my own family to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner. But before I do that, I wanted to wish each and every one of you a happy and peaceful Thanksgiving.

As I look back on the last year, I am incredibly grateful. This year has not been easy. We have faced challenges and heartbreaks. But we have also enjoyed hard-earned victories and successes. May this holiday remind us both of how blessed we are and how much more we have to do in order to make sure our neighbors are also okay.

Reflecting at Thanksgiving always re-energizes me for the next year. Today we rest and replenish. I am thankful for the opportunity to continue to work another day towards a more perfect Union.

I wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving. Today especially, I am so thankful for your support and for all you do to make sure your neighbors are okay.
