Dear Friends, 

Given the events of this past year, Connecticut residents - especially the principled ones - can find plenty of things to feel frustrated about. 

Instead, I ask you to join me and redirect your attention to the number of victories we have had this year in spite of many odds stacked against us. Twenty five towns now have a newly minted Republican Mayor or First Selectperson and the right side controls even more towns’ major boards and governing bodies.

The magnitude of what we have to be grateful for is beyond what any of us could have imagined coming off the past few election cycles.

I have tremendous appreciation for those of you who have chosen to work hard for your communities and for the freedoms we hold dear. For those of you, successful or not, who put yourselves out there to represent your local parents and taxpayers, thank you.

Times are changing, and we are rising to the challenges. This municipal election shows that we have the potential to make some major gains in the 2022 election and beyond.
