Dear John
Lots of you have asked us for more on what happened at COP26. You can read on below – where we unpack the promises made and compare them to what’s needed to tackle the climate catastrophe.
There’s no getting away from it. The Glasgow Climate Pact is nowhere near good enough. But there are reasons to be hopeful too. Together, let’s continue the fight.
And as always, we want to hear your thoughts. So if you’ve got 5 minutes, please take this short survey.

COP26 – WHAT'S NEXT? 🌍
Take action and keep up the fight

TELL PM TO STOP SUPPORTING MOZAMBIQUE GAS PROJECT
|
|
Despite talking a big game at COP26, Johnson’s own government is pledging over US$1 billion (£730 million) to support a climate-wrecking gas project off the coast of Mozambique. That’s not fighting climate breakdown, that’s fuelling the fire.
Please will you sign a petition asking the Prime Minister to withdraw support and stand by his commitment to climate action?

GET TOGETHER LOCALLY TO TAKE CLIMATE ACTION
|
|
On 6 November, during COP26, almost half a million people across the UK took part in the Global Day of Action. And up and down the country, our network of groups came out in force to demand climate justice from world leaders.
From Norwich to Cardiff, Newcastle to Belfast, these incredible demonstrations of people power showed that collectively, we won’t let our futures be cast aside. The climate movement is bigger and broader than ever.
