The Young Democrats of America are pleased to announce the appointments of our Standing Committees, Select Committees, and our Appointed National Officers, pending confirmation. This group of dedicated Young Democrats from every region of the country that will fill out the rest of the national YDA leadership for the next biennium. The National Leadership of YDA is represented by Young Dems from 23 States and Territories.
These appointees will oversee our committees on Rules, Credentials, Legislation, Resolutions, Finance, Campaigns, Chapter Building, Diversity and Outreach, International Affairs, and Meetings & Site Selection, and Technology.
“When myself and my fellow officers were elected to serve in this biennium, we wanted to make sure that our administration truly reflected our values,” YDA President Quentin Wathum-Ocama commented. “This group of individuals represents everything YDA has to offer in our racial, social, economic, geographic, and generational diversity.”
In addition to our committees, our elected National Officers will be joined by Chief of Staff Josh Coleman, Deputy Chief of Staff Kim Agyekum, Deputy Chief of Staff Jason Bergman, Communications Director Matt Royer, General Counsel Adam Strider, and their respective Deputies in their administration.
“We look forward to getting right to work now that we have a full administration put together,” Wathum-Ocama continued. “We knew it would take some time to get it just right, but we are fired up and ready to go on day one to continue to lead our Young Democrats into this biennium.”
