During an ongoing global semiconductor shortage that has stifled smartphone and car companies alike, the communications and electronics sector spent 15.1% more on federal lobbying during the third quarter than the same period last year, bringing its 2021 total to $362.1 million.

Health sector increases quarterly spending for eleventh straight quarter


Spending increased with an additional $160.8 million in the third quarter for a $498.9 million 2021 lobbying total.
