Hi friends, I’m heading offline for a few days to spend time with my family.

Before I go, I want to express my gratitude for your support, collaboration and trust.

Thanks to you, this year we raised critical funds for hyper-local organizing infrastructure to help build power for communities too often excluded and ignored. We announced our first three Official Groundwork Partners Black Voter Impact Initiative in WV, United Women of Color in AL, and the Mississippi Workers Center. We were able to give unrestricted, multi-year grants to these three incredibly deserving organizations. And the most exciting part is that we’re just getting started.

I think a lot about gratitude during this time of year, and I am incredibly grateful for each of you.

This week I’ll be curling up with Lauren, Ellie and James, and feeling lucky beyond measure for this community. I hope that your long weekend is restful and restorative, however you may be spending it. From my family to yours, thank you.
