Hi John,

It’s been 6 months since I was given the privilege of leading our amazing team of advocates, volunteers and staff at Save the Children Action Network, and I couldn’t be more thankful – for you! 

I’m in awe of the amazing work that our thousands of advocates have accomplished in 2021. Supporters like you didn’t falter in the face of hardship. You used it as motivation to fight even more fiercely for kids’ needs. 

John, you did so much for children this year.  

You’ve written hundreds of thousands of messages urging Congress to act quickly and resolutely for children in the U.S. and around the world.  

You asked them to invest in kids and families, tackle the child hunger crisis and rebuild our nation’s child care industry. 

You fought to expand access to early learning opportunities and give every child a head start in life.  

You’ve helped ensure kids’ mental and emotional well-being stays top of mind in the midst of national crises and global emergencies. 

You raised your voice on behalf of children and families seeking safety in the U.S., demanding they be treated with compassion and respect. 

A single message will never be able to convey my gratitude – and the gratitude that I know millions of children have for you, too. But I hope this is a start.
