I wanted to take a moment to wish you a happy Thanksgiving. I am so thankful to be able to celebrate safely with my family tomorrow, and I wanted to share that joy with you. I have so much to be thankful for this year. I am thankful for the frontline workers here in Nebraska and across the country who have kept our country and economy moving throughout the coronavirus pandemic, from grocery store cashiers to childcare workers to restaurant employees. I am grateful for the healthcare professionals who have treated the nearly 50 million Americans infected with COVID, and I am so grateful to the scientists who worked tirelessly to develop a vaccine for COVID. This vaccine is not only allowing so many of us to safely reunite with our families this Thanksgiving — but being vaccinated also, without a doubt, saved my life when I was diagnosed with COVID this summer.

Finally, I am so thankful for the hardworking folks of Nebraska’s Second Congressional District, who remind me every day why I’m running for Congress. Your support means the world to me, and I know that together, this team can take on any challenge that comes our way.
