John —
As the end of 2021 approaches, we can’t help but reflect on the past year and all of the work we’ve been able to do together. We just wanted to say how grateful we are for you and all that this community has done to advance the cause of justice.

This past year, we’ve accomplished so much — here’s just a quick snapshot:

1. We exonerated or freed 15 clients, who collectively spent 369 years in prison.
2. We passed 32 new policies across 21 states.
3. We added 516,400 new community members to this team advocating for change.

John, none of this would be possible without you — and we just want to say: Thank you! Whether you shared a post on social media, made a donation, signed on to a petition, or contacted your local officials to pass policies, we’re so deeply grateful for your unwavering support.

We’re so thankful to be fighting side by side with you and millions of others.

Happy Thanksgiving,

— The Innocence Project Team

Started in 1992 as a legal clinic at Cardozo School of Law, the Innocence Project is now an independent nonprofit, affiliated with Cardozo, that exonerates the wrongly convicted through DNA testing and reforms the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice.
