BBB has finally passed in the House!

Indivisibles,

After long months of negotiations and committed grassroots organizing from Indivisibles like you, we finally got Biden’s full Build Back Better Agenda (BBB) passed in the House. That is definitely something huge to celebrate! This package includes badly needed investments across the economy which are designed to support children and families, make much needed investments towards our climate, and make healthcare affordable for more people, and it’s one step closer to being law. 

The work doesn’t stop here though! The next stop for BBB is a vote in the Senate, where the top priority is making sure that the bill passes as quickly as possible. Senator Schumer is with us, and has expressed that he expects the Senate to vote on BBB right after Thanksgiving. So we need to make sure that we are doing all we can to push for a vote the week of November 29th, and as always we can’t do it without you. 

Here’s how you can help our ongoing fight for reconciliation:

  1. We know that you have made countless calls to your representatives, and to your senators, and we know how tiring this work can be. Take a break from calls this week! Instead, share this call to action with your friends, and ask them to call their senator and demand they pass BBB through the Senate as quickly as possible. You can share this script on Twitter or Facebook, or by forwarding this email to them. If they need more of an explainer on the basics of BBB, share this one-pager on the bill too!

  2. Next, keep yourself, friends, loved ones and future Indivisibles informed by sharing our social media pages. By doing this, you can make sure you and everyone you know is updated on the fight for reconciliation by following us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and texting INDIVISIBLE to 97779.

  3. Make a $10 donation to Indivisible. With everything we need to do to prep for the Senate fight over BBB, plus democracy and all the other priorities that await us when senators return, we’re hard at work building resources, call scripts, and more, and spending a lot of money to do it. To be honest, we’ve fallen a little behind our fundraising goal this month -- chip in today to help us close the gap before the month is up.
