<[link removed]>We need REAL Abortion Access. <[link removed]>Dear Friend,

I want you to know what’s going on. On December 1, the Supreme Court of the United States will hear oral arguments for Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. This will be the first time the Court will rule on the constitutionality of a pre-viability abortion since 1973.

Currently, Mississippi law bans abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy except in medical emergencies or in cases of severe fetal abnormality. This case directly challenges Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in the United States.

On January 28, 2022, we will celebrate 49 years of Roe. Although legal abortion alone has never been enough, it makes me very angry to know that Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization is poised to gut the already limited abortion access Roe provided.

Friend, we cannot have abortion justice until we are ALL able to get the care we need in our communities with dignity and respect.

Friend, before I wrap up, I want to thank you for your support of the Reproductive Justice movement. With your support, <[link removed]> URGE is building young people's power and forging a path forward for justice and liberation.

Together, we will create a future with Real Abortion Access, laws that support us, and a culture where our decisions are met with dignity and support.

Friend, I expect the Supreme Court to make their decision in the case between April and June of 2022. And I need you to contact your legislator and demand REAL Abortion Access. <[link removed]>
