Friend,

Instead of asking for a contribution to my campaign today, I’d like to ask for something else. In honor of tomorrow being Thanksgiving, I’m asking you to donate $5 to the cause of your choice. With so many folks in need, it is critical that we give back to our community whenever we can.

Whether it’s a food drive, or your family church, or the local shelter – please, if you can, spare a few dollars for those less fortunate. And please, have a happy, and restful Thanksgiving!
