Before you log off for the holiday, I wanted to say thank you. A little over nine months ago, I launched my run for Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania because I was sick of people-first Democratic policies being watered down to appease gerrymandered Republican districts.

Since then, I’ve sponsored over 250 bills in the General Assembly, stumped for Democrats, and met with voters across the Commonwealth. And thanks to supporters like you, we grew an incredible grassroots team along the way. My team shared these numbers with me, John. Take a look:

Since we launched this campaign:

• 5,514 first-time donors pitched in to transform Pennsylvania’s politics.
• This team made over 10,312 donations to invest in hiring and training organizers and staff, digital advertising, and more campaign infrastructure that it takes to win.
• Our average donation became $22.96 this quarter — a true sign of our grassroots power.

I first ran for office over a decade ago because municipalities were struggling and Pennsylvania lacked LGBTQ civil rights protections. Folks were left behind because we didn’t have a seat at the table. So when I see these numbers, I see that our movement is working and growing.
