As of this afternoon, we’re now only 44 donations away from our goal of hitting 1,000 individual contributions by the end of the month. If you didn’t see already, here’s what that means:
Many of you have heard from me before. I’m Taylor, and I’m Kathy’s Campaign Manager. Today is the last day of the month, and that means we evaluate our monthly fundraising goals to see how our campaign is growing. I just took a look, and we are $5,000 away from our end of the month goal.
I know that you receive lots of emails from campaigns telling you about goals, but let me explain what our goal means: It means we can continue hosting issue-based, community-led forums all throughout the District (we’re at 10 and counting for this year!). It means we can continue to purchase important campaign materials and reach out to more voters. Our campaign is growing—which is a great sign!—but it means we need your support more than ever.
