Friend,
If vampires, zombies, and monsters are on your mind today, know they've been on my mind all year long.
Sure, tonight's Halloween, but weve been fighting all that ever since election night in 2016 when Donald Trump and his GOP allies like Mitch McConnell decided to bring back zombie bills to tear down the Affordable Care Act, like vampires sucking the life and hope out of Congress, and -- honestly -- acting like monsters.
Ive led the charge to fight back on every attempt to roll back our progress, and Ill keep up the fight. But tonight -- a night we celebrate all things spooky -- I need to know you're with me year-round to fight back against the terrifying policies of Donald Trump.
We have a critical goal of raising $5,000 before midnight: Will you donate $5 or more now to show the grassroots power of our monster-fighting movement?

Just this month, we've fought for the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act -- which has a long history of bipartisan support -- but is being blocked by Mitch McConnell for reasons entirely unknown.
We pushed for an IRS investigation against the NRA and their tax-exempt status -- they're truly the original monsters of Capitol Hill, and their time haunting the halls of Congress and counting themselves as a tax-exempt organization should come to an end.
And we kept looking for every opportunity to flip the Senate in 2020 -- because the best way to protect our progress, and secure even more, is to elect Democrats in every seat we can.
We can end this nightmare and get rid of the ghouls haunting the halls of the Senate if we work together: Help us raise $5,000 by midnight. Donate $5 or more right now.
Sincerely,
Chuck Schumer
