Thanksgiving is tomorrow, but before we head off to be with our families, I’d like to celebrate two big wins I am thankful for.

Democrats delivered big last week. On Friday, House Democrats passed the Build Back Better Act, delivering on transformative social policy supporting working people across the country. It’s now time for the Senate to pass this bill too – and send it to President Biden’s desk.

Also last week, President Biden signed the Bipartisan Infrastructure and Jobs Act into law, one of our country’s largest investments in infrastructure rivaling the historic creation of our interstate highways.

Here are just some of the investments Democrats made to America’s infrastructure:

• Repairs to roads and bridges
• Improvements in public transit
• Expanded access to high-speed internet
• Investments in clean drinking water
• Jobs, jobs, and more jobs

Future Forum Democrats were instrumental in shaping both historic bills – but as we head toward a tough midterm election, we’re going to need your help keeping our Majority. Will you chip in today so the House remains focused on shaping job-creating policies addressing the country’s needs?

When you elected Democrats to control the House in 2018, and had our backs again in 2020, you made sure Congress started working again and delivered on the promises Republicans failed to act on.

With unified control of the government after the 2016 elections, Republicans had the opportunity to deliver on infrastructure – but they failed, instead opting to cut taxes for the rich and attempting to gut healthcare for the millionth time.
