It’s been a busy week already — and I know, it’s only Wednesday. On
Monday, I announced my candidacy for Vermont’s open Senate seat. With the
Senate hanging in the balance, Mitch McConnell and national Republicans
will try to buy this seat to advance their own interests, not ours.

But I’m running to serve the interests of Vermont families. That’s why I
want you to know that this campaign will be powered by
folks like you, who
chip in when they can. Powered by grassroots donations, NOT by corporate
PAC money.

That’s right: we’re not accepting any corporate PAC money. We want
Vermonters — and people watching around the country — to know that we’re
going to fight and win for them.

We must overturn Citizens United, get big money out of politics, and
publicly finance our elections so all voices are heard.
