My team and I have hit what’s called the “holiday slump” -- a major slowdown in political donations during the holiday months. That means fewer people are opening fundraising emails like this one.

But when you’re running in a battleground district, especially one where national Republicans are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars against you, you can’t slow down.

Our path to victory relies on talking to as many people as we can, as early as we can, and as often as we can.
