I wanted to take this opportunity to personally wish you an early happy Thanksgiving! With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, I’ve been thinking about how grateful I am to have your support, John.
Growing up in Columbus, Ohio after I was adopted by my mother, I quickly saw how in the toughest of times, we always had community. We had friends and neighbors looking out for us. I think that in today’s world we’ve lost some of that magic.
That’s why it’s been so important to me to build a people-powered, community-centered movement for a better Ohio. Every day I fight for a state that works for everyone, where folks are uplifted and feel like there’s opportunity to grow, live, and thrive here.
Honestly, John, November has been a tough fundraising month. The entire Morganize team is taking a much deserved break for the Thanksgiving holiday. Before we take a break from fundraising could you rush $5 to our campaign so we can start back up strong?
I know we can accomplish so much before the new year, John. We’ve already seen the power that progressives in Congress can have on bold life-saving policy. I will be a progressive voice in Congress and vote YES on policies that will help communities just like mine growing up.
