Giving Thanks

With Thanksgiving just a few hours away, and your email inboxes soon to be (or already) flooded with Black Friday and Cyber Monday email deals, this week’s Party Line is shorter and arriving earlier than usual. I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of our Hoosier Republicans for all you’re doing to keep this state moving forward.

Because of you, the Indiana Republican Party has become the most dominant political organization in recent Indiana history. In just the passed 4 years, we’ve set—and then beat—records for electoral success. Just think of where our party stands right now because of your hard work and support:
* We hold every statewide elected office- Governor, Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, Auditor, and Treasurer.
* We hold supermajorities in both chambers of the Indiana General Assembly.
* Indiana Republicans hold both United States Senate Seats and 7 of 9 of our US House Seats.
* 71 mayors throughout the state are Republicans, and all time record for our party.
* A whopping 88% of all county elected officials are Hoosier Republicans.

This success didn’t come by accident. It happened because we have a devoted, energized, and organized network of supporters. Folks who aren’t afraid of doing the hard work each year to maintain our winning streak.

And we also have the right policies. Hoosiers have seen the results in our state of focused, conservative leadership. Balanced budgets, low taxes, job opportunities, investments in education, public health, and infrastructure. We’re getting the job done at the ballot box but, more importantly, we’re getting the job done for Hoosiers every day.

That’s why we do what we do and that’s why we’re so thankful for your support and participation.

So, again, thank you for all you’ve done to support, not just our Indiana Republican Party, but the entire state. Working together we continue to make a positive impact on Indiana and I know there’s so much more we will continue to do in the months ahead.

Until then, I hope you have a wonderful holiday full of family, friends, faith, food, and football.
