You know what’s scaring me more than any ghosts or goblins this Halloween? The prospect of not hitting our end-of-month goal, the possibility that we won’t be able to stick to our campaign plan as a result, and the idea of another six years of Senator John Cornyn!

Look team, I didn’t want to write this email. I’d much rather be handing out candy bars to trick-or-treaters (and maybe having one or two myself). Senator Cornyn has a nearly $11 million war chest thanks to help from his corporate PAC allies -- no surprise after he’s spent nearly 20 years selling Texans out to special interests like Big Pharma and the gun lobby. So if we’re going to build a campaign as big as Texas that’s capable of taking him on and winning, we have to stay on track and meet this goal!
