Google is paying millions of dollars in ad money to websites that pump out lethal disinformation about COVID-19 -- like masks don’t work, and that vaccines are harmful.

These lies are costing lives, and they’re getting bankrolled by Google!

Huge public pressure has pushed Google to take action against disinformation websites in English, but unbelievably it’s still pumping cash into their Spanish equivalents.

It’s so easy for Google to end this in all languages -- but it won’t unless we call them out. Add your name and let’s embarrass them into action:

These websites are a key to the spread of dangerous disinformation about Covid-19, like that vaccines are harmful and masks don’t work. And Google is paying them millions for hosting ads for companies like AT&T, Adidas and Levi’s.

The fact Google has acted against English sites -- where the PR spotlight is -- but not in Spanish says it all. They could easily stop this, they’re just choosing not to. 

It’s the worst kind of corporate behaviour -- just like when Facebook fails to remove life threatening COVID disinformation. We can’t let another multi-billion dollar company like Google get away with this. Sign now:

Your voice is so important -- just last month, a public outcry forced Google to stop pouring ad money into disinformation sites that make money by promoting climate lies. So let’s keep up the momentum, and keep fighting until all users are protected from harm.
