Hi there, I want to take a moment to introduce myself.

My name is Josh Green, your Lt. Governor, and I’m running to be the next Governor of Hawaii.

In a moment, I’m going to ask you about your priorities. But first, I want to tell you why I’m running for Governor.

I believe Hawaii needs elected leaders we can trust — to tell us the truth, keep us safe and informed, stand up for working families, and be transparent and accountable to the people we serve.

We have so much to be grateful for here in Hawaii, and so much work to do to build a better future together. As Governor, I want to serve you and fight for your interests, which is why I need to hear from you. What are your top priorities?

My wife Jaime and I share the same values as you and your family. We believe in family, community, respect for basic human dignity, and responsibility to future generations.

That means fighting for affordable housing, a living wage, child care and healthcare for working families, and debt-free community college for every young person.

I am running for Governor because we need trusted, caring leadership, and I’m ready to fight for you as Governor, but first I want to know: what are your top priorities?

Serving as your Lt. Governor has been an honor. Running for Governor won’t be easy — but serving you, your family, and all of Hawaii will make it all worthwhile.
