Globally, 1 in 3 children are not growing how they should due to malnutrition, an entirely preventable condition. This year alone, nearly 3.2 million children under 5 are expected to suffer from acute malnutrition in Afghanistan. In Yemen, that number is 2.3 million. 1.4 million in South Sudan. The statistics paint a bleak picture but we can treat malnutrition today and prevent children from becoming malnourished in the first place
