Last week, I helped pass legislation through the House that will lower costs for families, provide middle-class tax cuts, and strengthen our economy in New Jersey and across the country.
SALT DEDUCTION: After years of fighting to lift the SALT deduction cap, I personally made sure this legislation restores the SALT deduction for virtually every family in our district, delivers tax relief for hardworking, middle-class families, and puts money back in their pockets.
LOWERING COSTS FOR FAMILIES: This bill includes a tax cut for families and lowers childcare costs for working parents.
PRESCRIPTION DRUGS: It lowers prescription drug costs by allowing Medicare to negotiate for lower prices.
VETERANS SERVICES: It improves health care and services for veterans by rebuilding Veterans Affairs’ medical facilities.
CLIMATE: And this legislation takes crucial steps to jump-start our transition to a clean-energy economy, reduce greenhouse gas pollution, and combat climate change.
Whether it’s lower costs for families or cutting your taxes, this legislation is going to lower costs and strengthen families’ bottom lines for years to come.
