AMP News November 2021

In the foreground is a multicolored dandelion. Dozens of its seeds are scattering as if blown. Below that reads "We are the seeds." The background is black with white specs that looks like stars.

Dear AMP Network,

Thank you to the 3,000+ people who either joined us in real time for the Fall 2021 AMP Seeds Series or watched them immediately after! You’ve helped sustain our collective learning towards building the world we need.

Did you miss Tawana Petty and Myrtle Thompson-Curtis sharing how two decades of homegrown ingenuity is helping DetroitersReimagine Safety ([link removed]) without police or the Osata sisters’ newest burlesque pieces during Performance as Resistance ([link removed]) ? Don't worry.

Because AMP Seeds is all about spreading liberatory ideas, strategies, and creations, we’re excited to announce the AMP Seeds Archive ([link removed]) – an educational tool based on the videos from the Series. You can watch, rewatch, or share videos from Fall 2021, Spring 2021 (Bloom), and Summer 2020 (Virtual Love, Virtual Healing) with your network. We took it a step further and offered downloadable transcripts, discussion questions, memorable quotes, and links to resources so that you can use them as part of a course curriculum, community event, or home viewing party.

Warmly,

Allied Media Projects
