Hi, John.

With the holiday season upon us, I hope you’re able to carve out space to rest and enjoy time with your loved ones. At Issue One, we have been reflecting on this past year and preparing in earnest for the next. Because of your support, we have driven sophisticated and nimble crosspartisan campaigns to seize this opportunity and help enact some of the most sweeping political reforms in a generation, from pushing for the passage of the Freedom to Vote Act to advocating for a bipartisan commission to investigate the events of January 6th.

Now, we are looking ahead, doubling down on our efforts to pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, supporting efforts to see the Freedom to Vote Act become law, and pushing for reforms to the Electoral Count Act. As always, we will bring Republicans and Democrats together in support of policies to strengthen our democracy, and leverage our bipartisan credibility to achieve victories in a time of unprecedented polarization. Although we face headwinds, the fact that YOU make this work possible gives us all the energy we need to persist.

On behalf of everyone at Issue One, we wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving! Thank you for your continued support and dedication to stand up for democracy.

Cheers,
Nick Penniman
CEO and Co-founder, Issue One

P.S. Don’t forget — Giving Tuesday is right around the corner. Keep an eye out for your opportunity to support Issue One’s 2022 work to protect our democracy!
