President Biden signed the landmark bipartisan infrastructure bill into law last week, ushering in historic investments to our country’s roads, bridges, waterways, broadband, and more.

Senator Tester was instrumental to this bill’s creation, leading tough negotiations and being a voice for everyday Montanans. And thanks to his work, Montana’s infrastructure will see unprecedented investments:

$42.45 billion for broadband expansion to rural communities
$2.8 billion for Montana highways
$100 million for the Milk River Project
$3.37 billion for forest management
$144 million for Montana airports
$164 million for passenger rail service & public transportation expansion

Unfortunately, both of our Republican representatives in Congress attempted to be key obstructionists to the infrastructure bill’s passage.

Leading with principles and working together for the good of our state and country. That’s the kind of leadership we need more of.

Not Ryan Zinke’s extremist record of putting his party before the people he swore to represent.
Not Ryan Zinke’s corrupt record of using our tax dollars for new furniture and private jet flights.
Not Ryan Zinke’s shameful record of selling out our national monuments to private companies for coal, oil, gas, and uranium profits.

The fight for the infrastructure bill serves as a potent reminder that we need more leaders in Congress ready to roll up their sleeves and help the American people, not fight our progress.
