John,

When centrist Democrats Rep. Kyrsten Sinema and Rep. Joe Manchin launched their attack on the drug pricing plan in the Build Back Better bill — saving Big Pharma almost half a trillion — we knew whose side they were on. They were working for their Big Pharma corporate donors, not working families.

But Sinema and Manchin aren’t alone.

My opponent, Rep. Krishnamoorthi, has taken over $350,000 from Big Pharma and private healthcare companies during his four years in Congress. ⬇️

And in those four years, he has:

➡️ Stood against universal healthcare like Medicare for All, which would break Big Pharma’s grip on our healthcare system.

➡️ Taken more money every single election cycle from Big Pharma and private healthcare companies.

➡️ Stayed completely silent on making healthcare and prescription drugs more affordable when it matters the most.

Rep. Krishnamoorthi chooses Big Pharma profits over the working Illinoisans he represents, so I’m running to replace him. Will you contribute to our 100% grassroots campaign so I can fight for Medicare for All in Congress? [[link removed]]

We can’t afford to be complacent, John.

Right now, 70,000 people in Illinois Eighth District don’t have any health insurance. Thousands more have health insurance, but can’t afford to pay their premiums, deductibles, or co-pays for prescriptions.

But Rep. Krishnamoorthi chooses to listen to Big Pharma lobbyists that line his pockets. In fact, he’s one of the only Democrats in Congress who represents the Chicago area and doesn’t support Medicare for All.

I’m running for Congress because I’m tired of corporate politicians selling us out. I will fight for what we need — Medicare for All, corporate money out of politics, and affordable prescription medication for everyone.

Will you chip in and help me replace a Big Pharma-funded Democrat so I can fight for what the people actually want? [[link removed]]
