We’re demanding they act as soon as they’re back from recess Indivisibles,
After the House’s historic passage of the Build Back Better Act last Friday, we’re closer than ever to winning major investments in the people’s priorities -- from health and child care to climate, affordable housing, labor and immigration protections, and more.
But we’re not there yet. The last hurdle to signing this bill into law is the Senate. And with the way Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema have engaged up to now, we can’t afford to get complacent. We need to make sure every single senator knows just how important these provisions are to their constituents, and that we expect them to act and act fast, as soon as they’re back from recess.
This holiday week, we’re getting everything prepared to spring into action and get this bill across the finish line next week. And we need your help: We’re building call tools, helping groups take action in their districts, running ads, and more. With how long this fight has dragged on, we’re pouring far more resources into winning than we’d hoped -- and we’re falling behind on our fundraising goal for this month, for the first time all year. Your grassroots support is what makes our work possible, so we’re asking if you can click here to help us raise $31,175 before next week so we can hold Manchin and Sinema accountable, win on Build Back Better, and turn our attention back to all our other progressive priorities.

The wins we’ve gotten so far are thanks to the hard work of Indivisibles across the movement and across the country who’ve been donating, making calls, showing up to events, and more. This week, we’re extra grateful for your support. We hope you can take some time to rest and recharge while we get everything prepped, so we’re all ready to dive in next week when the fight heats back up. Thank you.
In solidarity, Indivisible Team
