John, we have a problem:
Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans are so dead-set on taking back the Senate majority that, this year alone, they’ve poured $70 million into defeating strong Democrats like Val in battleground states like Pennsylvania.
Val is proud to run a campaign that puts people over politics and refuses to accept a dime from corporate PACs. But when you add up the millions Republicans are raising from corporate PACs and others to take back the Senate, we’re facing an uphill battle.
But as a doctor of more than 20 years, Val understands firsthand that when you have a problem, you need to get to work to identify it and solve it. At the moment, that means setting — and meeting — an $80,000 end-of-month fundraising goal for our campaign to compete with the GOP’s corporate PAC cash.
John, can you chip in any amount to help us reach our end-of-month goal and stay on track to send Val to the U.S. Senate? [[link removed]]
The path to protecting our Senate majority runs through Pennsylvania — that’s why CNN has repeatedly ranked this Senate seat as the most likely to flip. Senate Republicans know this — and with tens of millions on hand and ready to be deployed here in Pennsylvania, they will undoubtedly spare no expense to hold this seat.
But your support will help us compete and get across the finish line. Time and time again, folks like you have shown that you believe in a people-powered campaign that gives everyone a seat at the table.
We know that you know Val is the best candidate to flip this seat blue and protect or even expand our Democratic majority — and you and our grassroots supporters are a huge part of the solution to this challenge.
Please, pitch in whatever you can to make sure we meet our November fundraising goal. Every donation will get us one step closer to electing Val to the U.S. Senate to get things done for Pennsylvania and our country. [[link removed]]
