My friend,
Following election losses earlier this year, political pundits have begun to put forward the specter of a troubling outlook for the midterm elections. And it is true that up and down the ticket, Far Right candidates have been winning elections and ousting Democrats from seats once thought to be safe. As People For members, you know that Democrats can’t afford to become complacent even though we currently control both chambers of Congress and the White House.
But this is not a time to lose hope – with just under a year until the midterms, there are lots of opportunities to reverse course on our losses and refocus our efforts to ensure success at the ballot box. It’s why we want to hear from you about the issues most important to you and how you’re prepared to fight for them.
As People For prepares for the new year, we’re reassessing all our strategies to fine tune and make whatever adjustments might be necessary to ensure victories in the coming year – and your feedback is an invaluable part of that process.
