Dear John,
We are thrilled to share with you some exciting new details on our upcoming Virtual Gala on Sunday, December 5th at 5pm ([link removed]) !
At this 21st Annual MPAC Convention, we will showcase outstanding leaders and trailblazers from the American Muslim community and the greater American society. Our lineup this year includes key figures from the entertainment industry and the government sector who have actively worked to improve perceptions and policies that impact our community:
* Mike Feuer, Los Angeles City Attorney and candidate for Los Angeles Mayor, will join us to speak on the work he has done alongside our community, towards the goal of creating an equitable future for all.
* Actor Rizwan Manji will share the latest on how our Hollywood Bureau is changing narratives and preparing Muslim creatives to succeed in the industry.
Finally, we are honored to have Jacob Blake, Sr., father of Jacob Blake, as our Keynote speaker. As an American Muslim, Mr. Blake, Sr. is a testament to the universal values of our faith that call upon us to seek justice and equitability through unity. We invite you to join us as we hear his courageous and uplifting remarks.
You play an important role in promoting and protecting our future for generations to come. Join us ([link removed]) on Sunday, December 5th at 5 PM PT for our free virtual gala and together, let’s write the next chapter in our story— the Story of Us.
