Dear John,

Thank you for your continued commitment to GLSEN. Support from our donors enabled us to navigate a massive transition this past school year.

Together we responded to COVID-19 by supporting educators who were tested themselves by the demands of remote teaching and LGBTQ+ students who were ripped away from their support systems at school.

Because of you, we were able to not only redesign our existing programs and deliver them online to provide support and connection to both students and educators in the midst of crisis, but we also expanded our services to include:

*Rolling out the GLSEN Rainbow Library in K-12 schools nationally to help create safe and supportive learning environments where students can see themselves reflected, celebrated and uplifted in LGBTQ+ affirming books.

*Fielding our first in-depth report on GSAs with the launch of our national GSA Study.

*Expanding the breadth of online resources that we make available to over 10,000+ GSAs nationwide.

I know you understand the importance of creating safe schools where students won’t have to endure bullying or harassment, choose between belonging and being their authentic selves, or feel invisible because LGBTQ+ experiences are erased from their curriculum.

I know because supporters just like you have been by our side for the last 30 years helping to usher in a new era of safety, protections, and a long sought after sense of belonging for generations of LGBTQ+ students.

"When I started a Gay Straight Alliance at my high school, a lot of students found a sense of community and found a place where they could talk with people who had had similar experiences as them." —Carly (she/her)

GLSEN’s work simply isn’t possible without you.

Thank you for your steadfast commitment to affirming and protecting LGBTQ+ youth.
