Hundreds of leaders are lined up and ready for training. Their mission: to grow, learn, partner, and positively impact the communities they love.
New Leaders Council is excited to announce the 2022 Institute cohort. [[link removed]] Across nearly 50 nationwide chapters, over 680 NLC Fellows will expand their leadership journeys during our yearly six-month, place-based Institute . For our Fellows, NLC unleashes the power of collective impact. Through the exchange of ideas and information, relationships develop and a lasting learning community emerges – giving Fellows access to the knowledge and network they will tap into long after their Institute experience.

Starting in January 2022, Fellows will learn and grow together. These dynamic individuals join an ecosystem of change in their communities. They bring their unique identities, industries, and issues to their chapter - not only to grow as individuals but to play a part in a national movement for progress. Fellows will lead unique local actions to advance equity in their communities. Through NLC, those local efforts connect nationwide and emerge as a powerful influence for change on a large scale.

NLC’s national curriculum is tailored at the chapter level to connect Fellows’ training to local issues, and includes skill-building in areas such as collective impact, communications, fundraising, and community organizing. Fellows learn from each other as much as from the trainers. And while chapter volunteers train Fellows to enrich their skills, each Fellow enriches our nationwide movement.
NLC is proud to welcome our 2022 Fellows. With each new cohort, we get a step closer to a more equitable, just world. Thank you for supporting continuous growth in your community and across our national movement.
