Hi John,

I wanted to be sure to wish you all a happy and healthy Thanksgiving before we log off to start prepping our dinners and spending time with family and friends. I know what I’m especially thankful for this year: supporters like you.

As a kid growing up in an unstable household, constantly moving and sometimes unable to afford things like milk for my cereal, I never would have thought that someday, I’d be running for Congress.

I’m part of the first generation that has it worse off than their parents, and that’s not okay with me. But that’s why I’m running to be your next representative: to ensure no child or family has to go without what they need to not only survive, but thrive in today’s world.

For the past month since announcing my candidacy for Pennsylvania’s first congressional district, I’ve felt such an outpouring of support from people like you. I’ve also seen and heard the ways our current representation is failing Pennsylvania families and working people.

Together, we can change that. Thanks to you, we’re off to a great start, and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together between now and the November 2022 election.

Thanks again from the bottom of my heart. Know that I’m incredibly grateful for each and every thing you do for this campaign to flip PA-01, from signing petitions to making grassroots donations to spreading the word on social media.

This Thursday, I hope you have a wonderful holiday surrounded by loved ones. Then, let’s get back to work!

— Ashley
