Folks —

Look, I’m not here to fool you with fake astronomical goals or beg you for a donation because the “sky is falling!” That’s not how I do things.

But I am here to give you the honest-to-God truth: At the pace we’re going, we won’t reach our critical fundraising goal this month.

Last quarter, we reported raising less than other Senate frontliners. That makes our campaign vulnerable. And it can’t happen again or else Mitch McConnell could pounce on this race.

So, I’m personally asking (not begging!) you to split a donation of $5 or whatever you can to help Mark Kelly and me catch up on our goals before our numbers go public.
