Our work to protect future generations from a world divided into genetic “haves” and “have-nots” continues. We published the first comprehensive policy study on heritable genome editing, producing global policy maps and highlighting that 70 countries have made it illegal to create second-class genetic citizens. We’ve brought a lawsuit demanding that California remove the genetic profiles of innocent people from its criminal database.
