Fighting for gender justice in the courts, in public policy, and in our society.
Justice for her. Justice for all.

Dear John,
Next week, we will be back at the Supreme Court for yet another case in the fight for abortion access. The Justices will be hearing oral arguments, this time in a case challenging Mississippi’s 15-week abortion ban. Anti-abortion politicians are straight up asking the Court to overturn Roe v. Wade.
For years, Jackson Women’s Health Organization (the only abortion clinic in Mississippi) has been holding it down and exemplifying what it means when we say the fight to protect and expand abortion access is reproductive freedom. Abortion bans, no matter what form they come in are racist, sexist, and classist—period.
While many of us can’t be in person, in community with our friends in Mississippi, we plan to join them in solidarity from DC outside of the Supreme Court next Wednesday. We’ll be listening to the stories of abortion advocates and allies, listening to oral arguments, and joining in the direct actions planned in solidarity with those who fight and protect abortion access today and every day.
This time is critical for us to show up but it is important to acknowledge that we are still currently battling a pandemic. We are encouraging you to show up in the ways that feel best and safest for you. Your voice is needed whether in person or online.
Here’s everything you need to know:

Always being on the defense of these attacks on our constitutional rights is actually hard. But I do this work every day because I know we have allies like you, who continue to show up . Thank you.
I hope to see you in person or online.
