In case you didn't know: Planned Parenthood Action Fund never works alone. We are always at our strongest when we work closely with allies and coalition partners to protect sexual and reproductive health and rights. And we simply could not function without volunteers and organizers. This movement is powered by the dedication of people in every community to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights. It's this collective strength that protects access to care and drives every bit of progress we make together.
If you have ever volunteered — as a health center escort, as a virtual volunteer, helping register, educate, or turn out voters — THANK YOU.
And if you are someone who cares about reproductive health and rights, please sign our message of thanks to volunteers, organizers, and everyone who makes this movement possible.
Protecting sexual and reproductive rights and expanding access to health care isn't glamorous work. It requires steady commitment and a deep desire to break down barriers to care. It demands that we recognize the racist and discriminatory systems that deny equal access to people with low incomes, Black and Brown communities, rural communities, and LGBTQ+ people — and do what it takes to dismantle those systems. Often, it means incremental progress: one conversation, one voter, one patient at a time.
And each person who makes this commitment, whether it's for a single afternoon or a lifetime, is an essential part of the Planned Parenthood community. Volunteers help make sure people across the country have access to the care they need. Organizers knock doors, run phone banks, and register voters in support of abortion access.
We are dedicating this Thanksgiving week to thanking the people who are the heart and soul of Planned Parenthood.
Will you help spread that message of gratitude by adding your name?
When we face attacks on abortion access, volunteers and organizers are the people who help make sure the entire Planned Parenthood community is able to stand strong and fight back.
When lawmakers try to undermine access to health care, volunteers and organizers are the people who mobilize their communities.
When we pass legislation that protects reproductive rights, when we elect allies and champions to office, when we challenge inequities rooted in racism and sexism — volunteers and organizers are at the core of that work.
Please, take a moment to acknowledge the commitment, creativity, and energy they bring to this movement.
Planned Parenthood Action Fund, and all that we do, depends on countless people chipping in to do their part. Thank you for all you do.
