Allow us to (re)introduce ourselves. We are Barrier To Entry PAC, and we are cleaning up the Democratic Party.

We are spearheading the effort to support progressive candidates from working-class and low-income backgrounds. We’re effective with our money, and we’re intentional with where it is going. We’re supporting exciting campaigns and we’re centered in reality to know which campaigns we can win.

With our supporters' short-term investments, we can create long-term solutions. What we do will pay off.

When we fund small races, like Shenise Turner-Sloss who won her race to become Dayton City Commissioner this November, we help lay the foundation for her to lead.

The science shows us that Democrats may not hold the House or Senate long-term. But if we start to win small races, we can move the needle where it really matters AND create the next generation of elected leaders to continue to go on and win bigger races. We need a bench.

Down the road, who will be there to lead? That’s a question we hope to answer.

We aren’t like other PACs. We are a grassroots organization and run almost entirely off volunteer efforts. We keep costs low so your money is getting into the hands of people who are doing the hard work on the ground.

And let’s be clear, there is no one else doing the same thing as us. We are the only PAC focused exclusively on helping low-income progressive candidates run for local office to lift up their communities.

When we fund candidates, we fund working people who have full-time jobs AND are determined to win an election.

Our candidates don’t sit on large inheritances and six figure wages. They’re not here to satisfy their egos. Our candidates are in this to fight for their communities.

Your money goes directly to providing candidates with the resources they need to win -- direct cash, mentorship and guidance, video production, fundraising training and event tools.

Our candidates are really working two jobs, so our full-time job is being there for them.

Our next focus is getting Jessica Mason (TX-30) elected to Congress, and we have great news. The incumbent announced her retirement, paving the way for Jessica to become the front-runner. This is the momentum we need going into the new year.
